Integrated design and construction Process

1. Project Planning

Define the project’s goals, budget and execution considerations. A general style direction is established to inform the architectural design stage. The wider design-build team is brought together to review and collaborate, ensuring future success of a project.

2. Architectural Design

Architectural designs begin with concepts, and are developed through to construction documents that are signed off by a licensed architect. This stage evaluates the existing space and defines how it will look and function. It is presented in renderings, elevations and floorplans for refinement and collaboration. It also defines any structural, plumbing, electrical, HVAC or similar needs.

3. Interior Design

In parallel to architectural design, interior finishes are explored to create a seamless design within the space. Final selections are confirmed and sourced after architectural designs are complete. Furniture selection and sourcing can also be in included in this stage.

5. Construction

The design and construction teams communicate daily to ensure that the design is being implemented as planned. Ongoing collaboration between the full team ensures efficient, high-quality construction execution. Client updates and site visits are held regularly.

4. Procurement & Vendor Selection

A team of reliable construction specialists is confirmed based on the unique needs of your project. Construction schedules are established and all needed construction and interior design materials are sourced and purchased.

6. Wrap Up

Final inspections are completed and copies of all project documentation is provided to the client. Any outstanding client questions are answered and furniture can be moved into the space.
